Laugh and Eat Candy Floss

This is my 9-year anniversary on WordPress. We must have a post then.

OLD MANS BEARD – SENSE OF HUMOUR – (Clematis vitiable) [sic]

SenseHumour2

While vitiable is an actual word, I think that is a typo on the card (caused by an over-eager spell-check facility on a computer perhaps) as no clematis exists with that name, the name I found for Old Man’s Beard is Clematis vitalba. It is also called Wild Clematis or Traveller’s Joy; another UK plant that I am not familiar with, and we do have it in Canada on Southeast Vancouver Island, imagine that. It’s quite invasive and can choke other plants out, which is similar to the way humour can get away from you and be infectious.

I didn’t realize it but this plant is one of the ingredients in the Bach Flower Rescue Remedy and the essence be used on its own for for dreaminess and inattention. Oh, those candy floss dreams, they can surely get away with your attention.

So, the old Clematis comes to see me today. Be playful, surrender to what is, pay attention to your candy floss daydreams. All those seeds scattering about can manifest a good outcome.

Go wild, order that new sewing machine. Done.

You’ve got to watch sewing machines and their fondness for candy floss.
