Survive Like the Pine

I think I will try to do some sewing today. As long as I move slowly and don’t turn my head sharply to the left I should be able to manage 30 minutes or so.

While doing this draw I am pre-washing the new cotton fabric I bought to make myself to make two summer nighties. I am greatly keen on doing a nice, relaxing project and not having to redraw and refit something. I still have to finish up a doll dress today and tomorrow and then I can sew my nighties.

Overwhelmed this morning by feelings of hopelessness, I drew a card from an artist/nature deck. These are my favourite type of cards.

PINE TREE – SURVIVAL

“Even in the severest climates the pine tree maintains its ability to be evergreen and so will you.”

You said it. I’m listening.
